Principal
Jonathan is a veteran of the carbon capture, utilization and sequestration (CCUS) and carbon dioxide removal (CDR) industry with more than 15 years of commercial and scale-up experience. Notably, for more than a decade at CO2 Solutions Inc. (now CO2 Solutions by SAIPEM), he was instrumental in bringing the company’s revolutionary enzyme-based CO2 capture technology from the laboratory to commercial deployment.
In addition to his role at CCUS Experts, Mr. Carley is an Executive in Residence at Foresight Canada, Canada’s largest accelerator program for CCUS and CDR technology providers, an Expert Member of the technical committee for the International Standards Organization’s (ISO) development of standards for carbon capture and storage, and a Member of the Editorial Board of Frontiers in Energy Research’s journal of Carbon Capture, Storage, and Utilization.
